I was born & raised in the Langholt neighborhood in Reykjavík, Iceland // Ísland.
I co-founded Peregrine where we are scaling a co-production process for hydrogen and sulfuric acid.
I serve Orca Sciences as an entrepeneur-in-residence, moving things out of the way for new things to happen.
I co-founded hark where we built a tool to automate clinical documentation for physicians of all kinds. Hark was acquired by ScribeAmerica, where I had a lot of fun releasing speke.
As a Senior Engineering Lead // verkfræðingur at New Horizons, within Global Good I worked on several global health and development projects aimed at disease eradication & supporting the global vaccine supply chain. Our two early projects, MetaFridge and Indigo, were introduced at the Goalkeepers event and featured on Gates Notes
I earned my doctorate in electrical engineering at Tufts University within the LaISR laboratory led by Prof. Eric L. Miller working on collaboration projects with Prof. Sergio Fantini. My work focused primarily on inverse problems, especially image reconstruction methods for diffuse optical tomography.
In a past life, I worked for the hydrological survey of Iceland // Vatnamælingar.
